In this class we will talk about the physical properties of this exciting Pacific Northwest adaptogen, its uses and how it can create boundaries in the eco system and in our own thoughts and actions.
Creating Connections to Place through Native Plants with Susan Teitelman
– Downstairs, in the Balsamroot Room
This class will explore the benefits of and threats to Montana native plants. The class will also cover the ethics and legalities of plant collection in our state.
A Practical Guide to Chinese Herbs with Dr. Zoe Linton DACM, LAc

This class will include a short introduction to Chinese Herbal Medicine, followed by recipes and techniques for using these herbs in daily life. We’ll cover accessible herbs and simple formulas for immunity, stress, digestion and more.

Come and share the experience of a Tuscan aromatic adventure. Gain insight and wisdom of the ancient and modern masters of the healing arts of Italian essential oils and herbs.
Fearless Fermentation with Jessie Thomas
– Upstairs, in the Honeyberry Demo Kitchen
In this class students will learn how to preserve and alchemize local bounty through the art of fermentation. Students will gain an understanding of how fermentation was discovered, why it can be a helpful tool to use in their kitchens, and how to create ferments safely and with confidence.
